House System

The school has a house system based on family groups. On arrival at the school each child is allocated a house; Screech Owls, Tawny Owls, Eagle Owls or Barn Owls. If they already have a sibling at the school, they will be placed in the same house as their older brother or sister.

Throughout the school week, children earn house points. This can be for a variety of reasons including good work in class, good attitude to learning and displaying positive behaviours such as perseverance, kindness, helpfulness or politeness.

House points are collected over the week and counted to give each house a points score. At the end of each half term, the winning house have the opportunity to decide on a suitable small celebration for their house to enjoy.
