Our Nursery is part of St Oswald’s friendly and flourishing school community, where our staff, families and children work together to ensure there are secure foundations from which each child begins their educational journey.

The teaching in Nursery is focused on high quality practice which recognises each child is unique.  Building secure relationships and ensuring high quality interactions provide the fundamental elements of our Nursery experience.  Responsive and nurturing teaching is complemented by an engaging curriculum, this delivers opportunities for our children to be inspired, independent and inquisitive learners. 

Our children’s progress is reflected in their individual successes across their Nursery journey. High hopes and aspirations are fostered by our school community working together, ensuring our children are supported and challenged throughout their Nursery experience in preparation for starting school.
