This term we will be studying the topic of Awesome Earth during our Geography lessons.
English
This half term, we are writing a range of texts around a mystery story by Anthony Horowitz including our own mystery story. Next half term, we will be studying the novel, Floodland by Marcus Sedgewick.

This term in Science, we will be studying Light and Electricity
Homework
Children will be given spellings on Mondays. These will be tested in a written test ton Friday. It is recommended that spellings are practised for a short period daily. Children are expected to read at home for 20 minutes at least three times a week. This can be independently. Research shows, children that read at home, improve their vocabulary, concentration and make progress in their learning.
As the year progresses, more homework will be given out to help children prepare for Year 7.
PE is currently on a Thursday.
