When children are in school they are part of a community and by wearing a simple school uniform, we hope to promote a feeling of pride, equality, partnership and belonging. All children are therefore required to wear school uniform, which should be clearly marked with their name.
General uniform items are available for sale in the majority of high street shops, although children do prefer to wear school sweatshirts/cardigans with our school logo. Items with the school logo are only available to buy from the school office and an order form with sizes and prices can be found below. We also offer a school PE bag, book bag, polo shirts with logo and reversible coat.
Our school uniform is:
Royal blue jumper, cardigan or school sweatshirt/cardigan
White or blue blouse/shirt or polo shirt
Black or grey trousers/skirt
Black, grey or white socks
Sensible black shoes (not trainers)
With the option in the Summer term of:
Grey or black shorts
Blue and white check dresses
No jewellery is allowed other than one pair of small stud earrings. Due to health and safety considerations, children will be asked to remove earrings during PE lessons.
Clothing for PE
House colour t-shirt
Plimsolls (trainers can be worn for outdoor PE)
Jogging bottoms will be allowed for outdoor PE in colder months
Clothing for Forest School
Outdoor education is an important part of our school curriculum and all children in Year 1 to Year 6 will have at least one half term block (weekly session) in Forest School. For children in our Reception class, outdoor education takes place throughout the year.
It is really important that children have appropriate clothing as Forest School takes place in all weather conditions and can be messy, so we recommend the following:
- Waterproof trousers and jacket
- Wellington boots
- Extra warm layers – thermals, leggins or extra tights
- Warm socks, or two pairs of normal socks
- An extra jumper or fleece
- A warm hat and gloves
If you have any difficulty locating any items, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
